All products are individually boxed with instructions clearly stamped (as well as included with the packing list) that everything must be inspected immediately for concealed shipping damage and not stored in any damp area or in area that is not climate controlled.

Dining chairs are packed two in a box and securely attached to each other.  This, and the bottom and top trays which hold them in place allows extra space around them and helps to prevent shipping damage.  

Chairs are placed in trays on top and bottom which leaves space around and helps prevent movement during shipping.  This also helps when shipments are pushed too closely together.
