ARMS & LEGS

All are six- quarter or five- quarter oak ash or poplar.  All are double doweled, glued and screwed.  Screws are counter sunk with oak or ash plugs.

SEATS

All have corner blocks with 4 screws. 

SEATS

Seat and lumbar springs are 9 gauge.  Back and pillow springs are 12 gauge.  All springs have half-inch decking and burlap over them to protect the foam.

FRAMES

Seat and back post are four quarter ash or oak hardwood.  All other parts in seat and back are four- quarter ash or oak.  All parts are glued, nailed and blocked.  All rails are four quarter ash or oak hardwoods.  All are double doweled, glued and screwed (pined if cannot be screwed)

FOAM

Seat foam is A45C (for a firm seat)  Back foam is A35C (which is a softer foam).  Arms are A35C.  Outside back, inside and outside arm are of A30C foam.

FINISH

Finished parts are hand rubbed with stain, followed by a sand coat sealer, and hand sanded before two coats of hard shell top coating are applied.
